No. NY takes months to process bar applications. He also clerked, so who knows when he even took the bar.

No, NY is TTT. You pass the bar and then have a year to apply for and gain admission. I passed the year I graduated but dragged my feet and was admitted the next year.

i clerked on a coa; we called the parties a week before the hearing asking if they could reschedule for "the court," two of the judges on the panel wanted to fly to CA for a conference and stay an extra day to see a Dodgers' game that was scheduled the day of the hearing

Cr. I did both dct and COA and there is no comparison. COA Judge may be the best job on the planet. They barely work at all. Iíd say SCOTUS, but that seems more stressful and political. COA Judge is no stress and barely any work at all. Donít feel like reading the briefs one month? Donít. No one will know or even care. And if they did, they couldnít do anything about it.

cr.. you walk around all day every day reporting to no-one, just being the man with everyone around you being obsequious as fuck and calling you Your Honor. In a way, being a district court judge is probably better than appellate. Appellate you just listen to the argument as one of 3+ dudes and then have to get them to agree with you and shit. District Court you're all by yourself in the courtroom and you're the fucking man and can do whatever you want and, worst case scenario, some appellate eggheads overturn you, in which case who gives a fuck?

Holy shit

United States v. Lavont Flanders and Emerson Callum, 11-20557-CR-KMM, in which Flanders, a former police officer, and Callum, a pornography producer, were accused of luring hundreds of women to South Florida over the course of several years, drugging the women, raping them, and selling the video-footage of the rapes over the Internet and at pornography stores. After years of investigation and two weeks of trial, a jury convicted both defendants on all 22 counts in the indictment, and the Hon. K. Michael Moore sentenced each defendant to 13 consecutive terms of life imprisonment.

MDH or other florida posters do you know anything about this firm? i've never heard of them and have done a couple florida cases PHV

looks like they do primarily plaintiff's work, but their bios are prestigious as fuckkk, unlike shops like milberg where, yeah, they have big verdicts and settlements on their website but 90% of the attorneys went to some TTT like fordham or cardozo
